The plaza it is on is pretty, and it is very central. The major sights are minutes away, and everything else is nor more than a 15 minute walk.

There is absolutely no soundproofing on the windows. Sound sleep is not possible because the plaza facing it is packed with tourists and restaurants that open early and clean up late in a very noisy way, yelling and dragging garbage cans across the street (2 am, every night, like clockwork). You hear every sound as if you are right there. The rooms are not well laid out. Rooms suitable for one person are sold as doubles (no closet, no luggage storage). There is no place to put your clothes (no shelves, no bureau, not one drawer), so you have to live out of your suitcase. The tiniest desk I have ever seen, suitable for leaving your wallet on but not working. This hotel may be ok for a one or two night stay, but after that it feels cramped, and I was begging for some sleep. The staff put on smiles, but don't really seem to care about your comfort or convenience. The bathroom has a clear (see through) glass door, which means, of course, that you and your travelling companion should be very comfortable with each other.

    Exceptional

Beautiful spacious room with contemporary furnishings, abundant natural light and a private terrace in a heritage building located in the heart of Bairro Santa Cruz. Literally 100m from Sevilla Cathedral and the Alcazar with bars, restaurants and flamenco in all the surrounding streets. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. I would call this a boutique hotel at very reasonable rates. Noise levels within and surrounding the hotel very acceptable for such a central location - had no trouble sleeping. A highlight of my 6 week trip as far as accommodation concerned.

Nothing for me, the breakfast was standard and probably worth looking elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location. The hotel was well presented.

Our room was very small though it was very clean and comfortable with a large terrace.

    Good

Pretty rooms, nice location by a square in the center.

No minibar in the room and no sale of soft drinks or wine in the hotel at all. Seems to be a deal they have with the restaurants in the square to get guests to buy expensive drinks there instead. There are no normal shops in the area. When we arrived tired, hot and thirsty I first looked for a minibar, then went to reception. They told me to buy at the next-door restaurant. This is a very touristy area, so the cheapest bottle of red wine there cost 16 euro. Open solution between bedroom and toilet.

The location of this hotel is really wonderful in a really charming square. The decoration of the hotel is also really nice. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in answering our endless questions about local tourist attractions and kept helping us find places on our map with great patience!

Our room was extremely small and cramped. It also smelled like a backed up sewer which was quite difficult to bear. The bathroom was in full view of the bed and it had a glass door! Thus we could have no privacy at all in the bathroom. Our room was very poorly laid out and quite claustrophobic. If you are going to stay here make sure you book a big room (if there are any).

The hotel is in Plaza Doña Elvira, a very quaint square in Barrio Santa Cruz. There are many restaurants and shops close by, and we were just a few blocks away from La Catedral and La Giralda and the Real Alcázar. The decor is lovely, a little shabby chic. Our room had a terrace facing the interior so we did not have any issues with noise from the Plaza.

Our room was very small. We managed, but there was barely any space for our luggage, and we had carry-on bags. The bathroom was very modern, but the doors were clear glass so we got creative about privacy. The bed was a full size, not the easiest to share (it was the smallest we encountered throughout our trip). If ease of transportation is important to you, this hotel might not be the best choice. It is located 5-8 minutes away from the roads accessible by car. You have to walk with your luggage for a few blocks to reach it, and the roads are made of stone. This is common, but might be tough for people with lots of luggage, families with young kids or elderly people. This is a boutique hotel, so the price is somewhat high for the amenities it has. It is more about ambiance.

    Fabulous

The helpfulness and knowledge of the staff and their excellent English. Recent renovation really well done, and location to the cathedral and alcazar was excellent. We had a huge terrace overloooking the plaza and surprisingly not very noisy at night. Overall, well recommended for a three star hotel.

Getting to the hotel was quite difficult, especially if you have no map or prior directions. Taxi can not take you to the front door, which can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage. No refrigeration, so in the hot summer be aware!

    Exceptional

Staff is extremely friendly and speak several languages. Just in the nicest small plaza of Sevilla. In the center of the centro (!). A bit noisy at night (garbage collection) but that's the price you have to pay to be in the center of paradise.

    Exceptional

Lovely location in the plaza. Staff were very helpful. When we wanted a room change, no problem, and we were given a very nice room.

Its location on the plaza means there is some noise from late-night dining. However, this is intrinsic to its location, which is on the tourgroup route. It did not affect our enjoyment of our stay.

Very nice looking hotel in a beautiful and quiet plaza. It is well looked after and is very central.

    Superb

Fantastic location right on a beautiful plaza in the old town. Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Nice design. At the price a really great place to explore Sevilla from.

No gluten free option for breakfast even if requested, so breakfast was limited to eating cheese or ham without bread. There are plenty of other restaurants around, so I'd recommend booking w/o breakfast if you have odd dietary needs.
